PETALING JAYA (Sept 21): Mah Sing Group Bhd plans to launch the first block of M Centura in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, by the fourth quarter of this year with indicative selling prices from RM328,000.

The 8.9-acre freehold development which fronts Jalan Sentul Pasar carries a gross development value (GDV) of RM1.3 billion. The first phase comprises two blocks offering 1,413 apartment units.

According to the press statement, the soon-to-be launched apartment has indicative built-ups ranging from 650 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft. Selling prices start from RM328,000, or around RM505psf.

The development also provides resort facilities spread over one acre, which include an Olympic-length swimming pool, wading pool, laundry bar, childcare area and dual floating gym.

Mah Sing CEO Datuk Ho Hon Sang said M Centura has garnered strong interest from buyers, with over 5,000 purchasers registering their interest online.

“M Centura has very good accessibility as it is near public transport infrastructure. The Sentul Timur LRT Station is 2.4km away and the Sentul LRT Station is 3.5km away. There are also three KTM stations which are the Sentul, Kampung Batu and Batu Kentonmen around 2.5km to 3.5km away,” he said at the launch of the project’s sales gallery today.

The location of M Centura allows easy access to various parts of the city and suburbs via trunk roads and highways including DUKE Highway which is only 1.5km away, as well as Middle Ring Road 2 and Karak Highway. It is also just 5km to Kuala Lumpur City Centre and 7km to Mont’Kiara.

Mah Sing managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said the group aims to address market demand by delivering more affordable but high-quality properties, M Centura being one such example.

“While the group’s business is in developing properties, its greater role is in developing the nation through building homes for all levels of society. As such, we will continue to sell what people want to buy,” he noted.
