KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 12): Kumpulan Jetson Bhd said its 51%-owned unit has bagged a subcontract worth RM76.35 million to build two blocks of serviced apartments in Bukit Jalil, here.

The company said Jetson ARDC Sdn Bhd has accepted the letter of award from China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd to undertake the project, comprising 709 apartment units in all, with carparks and office units.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, Kumpulan Jetson said the project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group for the financial years ending 2017 to 2020.

Shares in Kumpulan Jetson closed unchanged at 31 sen for a market capitalisation of RM64.07 million. Over the past 12 months, the stock rose 37.78% from 22.5 sen. — theedgemarkets.com
