S P Setia bags two awards at Malaysia Property Award 2017

PETALING JAYA (Nov 25): S P Setia Bhd took home two awards at the Malaysia Property Award 2017 organised by FIABCI-Malaysia held this evening.

Setia Eco Glades in Cyberjaya won the Master Plan Gold award whereas Seri Kasturi Apartment in Bandar Setia Alam triumphed in the Affordable Housing category.

“We are absolutely delighted to be chosen as winners in two distinct categories as this goes to show that S P Setia is indeed an award-winning, multi-disciplinary property developer,” said S P Setia president and CEO Datuk Khor Chap Jen.

“Our strategy of focusing on the principle of continuous excellence and exemplifying our vision to be the best in all we do imbued with our LiveLearnWorkPlay development philosophy has enabled us to continue to achieve greater heights this year," he added.

Accepting the award for Setia Eco Glades, S P Setia executive vice-president Datuk Koe Peng Kang said that the development is an embodiment of the developer's unique expertise: fusing residential luxury with eco-consciousness.

“Setia Eco Glades is a superbly designed collection of thematically different islands inspired by cultural diversity and perfected by nature and technology. We are very proud of our win here at the Malaysia Property Award 2017, and we dedicate this win to Team Setia who have diligently worked hard to make Setia a trusted brand in the property industry," he said.

Meanwhile, executive vice-president Datuk Tan Hon Lim, who received the award on behalf of his team for Seri Kasturi Apartment, said the Setia brand is "very much synonymous with strength, reliability and the value creation that it brings to all its developments".

“We are proud to be able to deliver high quality homes while still maintaining its affordability for the home purchasers,” he said.

Winners of the Malaysia Property Award will automatically earn a ticket to the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards to compete against the best globally.

S P Setia has the distinction of being the only Malaysian developer to have received seven FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards in the property industry.
