PETALING JAYA (Dec 22): EcoHill Taipan, part of the lifestyle commercial hub at Setia EcoHill, Semenyih, is set to be completed with the handover of keys to owners this month.

EcoHill Taipan has a GDV of about RM130 million and consists of 56 shopoffices designed with colourful glass facade, spacious floor plan and high ceiling, said developer S P Setia Bhd in a statement today.

EcoHill Taipan’s intermediate units are three storeys while the corner units are four storeys high.

“We are truly pleased that all units were fully sold upon launch in 2015.

“At the moment, we have a good mix of businesses including clinics, trading companies, F&B outlets as well as other services ready to be rolled out in these shopoffices in the coming months,” said Setia EcoHill general manager S M Koh.

“We are confident that owners of EcoHill Taipan will get to enjoy a minimum of 6% rental yield from their investments here,” he added.

Located at the crossroad of the busiest main road in Semenyih, the project is surrounded by matured communities of close to 60,000 residents who will benefit from the services offered.

“Initially, leasing services were set up free-of-charge to provide shop owners with match-making and lease negotiation services to establish the commercial area in the fastest time possible.

“We are now ready to open for business ahead of the expected completion, which was scheduled to be in the second quarter of 2018,” said Koh.

The second phase of the commercial development in Setia EcoHill will feature EcoHill Walk, an integrated mixed development.

EcoHill Walk will boast a neighbourhood mall with a gross development area of 300,000 sq ft, 890 serviced apartment units and 80 blocks of strata lifestyle retail shops and office units, which are interconnected via sheltered pedestrian walkways and lifts.

Each retail shop and office unit has an average built-up of 1,500 sq ft and prices start from RM455,000. There will be 2,000 parking bays.
