Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Sultan Iskandar of Johor made headlines recently when he was gifted an insanely-detailed life-sized (and functioning!) Fred Flintstone replica car (pictured).

The sweet ride — which comes with a fully-working engine, canvas roof, faux-wood finish on the car body and faux-stone finish on the wheels — is a gift from the Pahang crown prince Tengku Abdullah ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah.

According to his official Facebook page, Sultan Ibrahim’s favourite cartoon is The Flintstones, while the bumbling Fred Flintstone is his favourite cartoon character.

Did you know that he loves the series so much that he built a huge house inspired by the cartoon? The Flintstone House in Mersing is a multi-coloured, organically-shaped building with curves reminiscent of the cartoon family’s home, but much more opulent. One thing’s for sure — Fred Flintstone would probably go “Yabba dabba doo!” if he ever got a chance to visit.

Take a virtual tour of the home through the pictures below.
