IPOH (March 26): A row of shoplots in Sungai Burung, Cameron Highlands was destroyed in a fire last night, reported Bernama.

Pahang Fire and Rescue Department fire superintendent (Zone 3) Shahrulnizam Nasir said a team was dispatched to the site after receiving a distress call at 10.16pm yesterday.

There was no report of any casualties in the incident, he added.

Out of 16 shoplots in the building block, 10 were destroyed by the fire — including one used as a museum.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
