KUALA LUMPUR (April 2): There are now no more toll booths on Batu Tiga and Sungai Risau.

According to a Bernama report based on a PLUS Malaysia Bhd statement, work to dismantle the Batu Tiga and Sungai Rasau toll plazas was completed last Saturday.

It was announced in the Budget 2018 by Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak that toll collection was to be abolished in these two places.

Najib said that the government was concerned about the cost of living and the need to help improve the quality of life of the people.

“PLUS thanks all road users for their understanding and cooperation during the work undertaken from Feb 20 and 21,” PLUS said.
