KUALA LUMPUR (April 26): AmFirst Real Estate Investment Trust (AmFirst REIT) chief executive officer (CEO) Wong Khim Chon will be stepping down from his post on July 27.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, AmFirst REIT said Wong, 59, had resigned. Wong took on his current post as executive director and CEO of AmREIT Managers Sdn Bhd, the manager of AmFirst REIT, in January 2015. Prior to that, he was senior general manager of property at Hap Seng Land Sdn Bhd from October 2010 to October 2014.
AmFirst REIT units closed unchanged at 60 sen yesterday, with a market capitalisation of RM411.84 million.
