Wong said the monthly rental of the first floor for such new shoplots is about RM6,000, while the second floor can fetch around RM2,500, and the third floor can command about RM1,500.

She also noted that this is a good deal for the tenant as they were looking for new office space with easy access as well as amenities and the shoplot in Ayer Itam meets all their needs.

Available online rental listings showed that the asking rental for the ground floor in a two-storey shopoffice unit at Lebuh Sungai Pinang is about RM1,500 to RM1,800 per month.
