PETALING JAYA (June 5): The KL City Plan 2020 can be gazetted within six to eight months pending the approval of the yet-to-be appointed Federal Territories minister.

“The gazette can be done within six to eight months but we do not have a ‘boss’ yet,” Kuala Lumpur Mayor Tan Sri Mohd Amin Nordin Abd Aziz told StarMetro.

“I was told by my Planning Department that the existing plan will still be useful but there will be amendments.

“The Kuala Lumpur MPs agreed to gazette it after discussing it in our previous meetings. But now, we have to wait for the minister to be appointed,” Amin was quoted as saying in the report published today.
