KUALA LUMPUR (June 21): Gabungan AQRS Bhd has secured a RM60.22 million subcontract job to carry out substructure, toll plaza building and motorcycle lane works on the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE).

In a stock exchange filling yesterday, the group said its wholly -owned unit Gabungan Strategik Sdn Bhd (GSSB) has accepted the letter of award from Syarikat Muhibah Perniagaan Dan Pembinaan Sdn Bhd (SMPP). “The subcontract awarded to GSSB is a new contract between SMPP and GSSB for the provision and supply of all labour, material, fuel, plant and/or equipment and everything necessary for the execution and completion of substructure, toll plaza building and motorcycle lane works as stipulated in the subcontract tender documents, and in compliance with drawings and specifications,” Gabungan AQRS said in the announcement.

The contract is expected to start on June 25, with completion on Feb 24, 2020.
