KUALA LUMPUR (July 2): Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd (KLK) has appointed Leong Sean Meng as the acting group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect upon the resignation of the Group CFO Soon Wing Chong, reported Bernama today.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, KLK said Leong will also continue in his role as the group Chief Accountant.

Before joining KLK, Leong worked in accountancy for the public accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand for 10 years.

He joined KLK Group in 1991 and was appointed as Group Chief Accountant on Oct 1, 2016, Bernama reported.
