WCT active, jumps 7.23% on landing RM555m contract

KUALA LUMPUR (July 13): WCT Holdings Bhd jumped 7.23% in early trade today after it secured a RM555 million contract from Lendlease Projects (M) Sdn Bhd for a proposed mixed development in the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) Lifestyle Quarter.

At 9.16am, WCT rose 6 sen to 89 sen with 11.16 million shares done.

The job includes the construction of a four-level shopping complex, three levels of car park, and a level of open landscape with retail space. — theedgemarkets.com
