KUALA LUMPUR (August 3): Rural Development Ministry Deputy Minister R. Sivarasa said that the government will aid in gazetting customary Orang Asli land.
The government will assist gazetting of customary land, especially in Kelantan, in response to long-standing issues faced by the community, reported Malaysiakini.
He said the issues should have been resolved by the Kelantan state government.
"I will set a date to meet with the Kelantan state government to start negotiating on gazetting customary land for the Orang Asli future generations," he said, quoted Malaysiakini.
