KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 8): Inta Bina Group Bhd has bagged a RM62.64 million contract to construct 79 units of bungalow, two units of Tenaga Nasional Bhd substation and two guard houses in Beranang, Hulu Langat, Selangor for Eco Majestic Sdn Bhd.

With this contract, the group’s unbilled order book stands at RM826 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Inta Bina said its wholly-owned subsidiary Inta Bina Sdn Bhd (IBSB) has agreed and accepted the letter of award from DTLM Design Group Sdn Bhd for the proposed project. IBSB is principally involved in the business of construction work.

“The scope of work includes but not limited to superstructure, architectural, mechanical and electrical works,” it added.

The contract period will be for 20 months commencing from Aug 15.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of Inta Bina for the duration of the contract and will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of Inta Bina,” the group said.

Inta Bina intends to fund the contract via internal funds and/or external borrowings.
