KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 11): Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (pictured) today visited superyacht Equanimity docked at the Boustead Cruise Centre in Port Klang today.

According to news reports, Dr Mahathir arrived at the centre at 11.40am on Saturday (Aug 11).

Accompanying him were Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu, Deputy Defence Minister Liew Chin Tong, Armed Forces chief Tan Sri Jen Zulkifli Zainal Abidin, Navy chief Admiral Tan Sri Ahmad Kamarulzaman Ahmad Badaruddin, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.

Equanimity is estimated to be worth RM1 billion and is believed to be some of assets purchased using funds from the controversial 1Malaysia Development Bhd.

The media were, however, not be allowed to board the vessel with the entourage.
