IGP: Malaysian cops still hunting Jho Low

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 11): Mohamad Fuzi was accompanying Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad during an inspection of the luxury yacht, Equanimity, which had docked at the Boustead Cruise Centre Terminal, Port Klang.

The luxury yacht arrived in Malaysia on Aug 7 after being handed over by the Indonesian authorities.

The Sarawak Report blog earlier reported that a radio station in Hong Kong broadcasted a news report on Low's arrest in China. The report, however, did not obtain confirmation from any party about the detention.

Low's passport has been cancelled by the Immigration Department of Malaysia on June 15 at the request of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over their investigation of the 1MDB scandal, reported Bernama.
