Report: Najib and supporters to picnic at the Tun Razak Memorial on National Day

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 30): Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak (pictured) will be having a picnic with his loyal supporters on National Day tomorrow.

According to a report by the Malay Mail, Najib will be celebrating Aug 31 with his supporters at an event dubbed “1Malaysia Merdeka Picnic” at the Tun Razak Memorial.

The daily reported that the picnic will begin at 7am, based on a poster of the event posted by Umno supreme council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam on his Instagram page today.   

Lokman also posted on his Instagram account that registration for the event is now closed.

He told the Malay Mail that registration was needed to “facilitate attendees at the event, which is to be held in a small hall”.
