PETALING JAYA (Sept 5): Malaysia's Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Azmin Ali and Singapore's Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan will sign a side letter that amends the original  Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) today, reported The Malaysian Insight.

The letter will amend the original agreement between both countries which did not have provisions to postpone the project.

Earlier, Azmin Ali said the project will be postponed "indefinitely" and Malaysia will not be subjected to a RM500 million termination penalty.
