UEM Sunrise to launch first private marina project in southern Malaysia by year-end

PETALING JAYA (Sept 18): UEM Sunrise Bhd will be launching the first private marina in southern Malaysia by year-end, reported The Star.

The marina will be located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor and will be jointly developed with SGX-listed marina developer, operator and integrated marina consultant SUTL Enterprise Ltd which is best known for its ONE 15 brand of marinas.

To cost RM150 million, the project aims to draw rich yacht owners from across the globe, said UEM Sunrise chief operating officer Datuk Roslan Ibrahim.

The project is targeted for completion in June 2020.
