KUALA LUMPUR (October 2): Datuk Mohd Izzaddin Idris has resigned as non-executive director of property developer UEM Sunrise Bhd, following the completion of his service contract at holding company UEM Group Bhd.

Mohd Izzaddin also ceases to be chairman of the UEM Sunrise board’s tender committee and member of the board development committee, as well as the employee share option scheme committee.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, UEM Sunrise said Mohd Izzaddin sat on its board since July 2009. Since then, he was also group managing director (MD) and chief executive officer of UEM Group.

UEM Sunrise, meanwhile, announced Datuk Noorazman Abd Aziz's appointment as its new non-executive director.

Noorazman joined Khazanah Nasional Bhd as executive director for investments in May 2010 after spending two and a half years as MD of Fajr Capital Ltd, a Khazanah investee company.

Prior to this, he was involved in international banking and finance through stints at Citigroup, Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd, Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange and Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority.

Wong Shu Hsien was named as an alternate director to Noorazman. She is currently a director of investments at Khazanah.
