Rosmah was arrest after she arrived at MACC at 10.45am this morning.

This is the third time Rosmah is being made to assist the MACC in their investigations.

The media reported yesterday that Rosmah had to present herself at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya this morning to assist the graft busters in their investigations.

Malaysiakini reported that MACC deputy chief commissioner of operations Datuk Seri Azam Baki confirmed the arrest, saying that Rosmah was detained at 3.20pm after having her statement recorded.

"She will be taken to the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court tomorrow to face charges under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001," he told the news portal.

Rosmah’s lawyer Geethan Ram Vincent also confirmed with The Malaysian Insight of her arrest.

She made her first visit to the MACC on June 5 to be questioned over the investigation on the SRC International Sdn Bhd case.

SRC International is a subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), until it was placed under the Ministry of Finance in 2012.

On Sept 26, Rosmah was grilled at the MACC HQ for almost 13 hours.
