KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 31): Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex for the hearing of his application to transfer 25 graft-related charges involving some RM2.3 billion linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), to the High Court.

He was greeted with cheers from his supporters, as security remains tight in anticipation of the former premier's arrival.

Najib previously filed the application to the High Court, a decision which the prosecution is also in agreement with. His application is to be read in front of High Court Justice Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali today.

It was also reported that case management for seven graft-related charges involving RM42 million in 1MDB's former unit SRC International Sdn Bhd at the High Court is also scheduled today.

Including the charges above, Najib currently faces 38 graft-related charges involving about RM9 billion.
