Assemblyman urges PJ development to open parking bays to public for longer hours

PETALING JAYA (Nov 26): Bukit Gasing state assemblyman R Rajiv is hoping that parking facilities in a new mixed development building in Petaling Jaya’s Section 17 can be used by the public from 6am to 10pm, reported The Star.

Rajiv told daily that he has told the developer of the project about his idea and the latter replied that “final touches on the security measures were being put into place and would consider his suggestion after it was completed”.

“At the moment, the parking bays from level three to five are open to the public for free from 10am to 10pm. If it is open 24 hours, it will be better.

“Parking for visitors at the mixed development is free at the moment. Hopefully, it will remain free as it will help the businesses in the building,” he said.
