PETALING JAYA (Jan 15): Luxury co-working space and serviced office provider Colony Space Asia Sdn Bhd has announced its expansion into Mutiara Damansara, Selangor, marking its fifth location in the country.

The upcoming new space dubbed Colony@Mutiara Damansara will be housed within KYM Tower spanning 19,700 sq ft across two floors, and can accommodate over 250 people.

KYM Tower is a Grade A and Green Building Index Gold certified building with MSC status.

“As a burgeoning cosmopolitan, Mutiara Damansara presents outstanding opportunities. We are excited to bring Colony’s hospitality and beautiful workspaces to the area with aims to better serve our growing customer base,” said Colony co-founder and executive director Timothy Tiah in a statement.

Colony@Mutiara Damansara will bring Colony’s footprint to over 100,000 sq ft of space in Malaysia. Prior to this, Colony announced that the 35,000 sq ft Colony@Star Boulevard KLCC will be open in April 2019.

Slated to open its doors in June 2019, Colony@Mutiara Damansara marks the group’s first foray into the state of Selangor. It will be connected to neighbouring lifestyle malls, including The Curve Shopping Mall, IPC Shopping Centre and IKEA Damansara via an elevated walkway, which will also link the co-working space to the MRT rail network.

“Set to be designed by luxury interior designer Jarsche Design Studio, guests may expect elegant detailing, generous spaces and a tasteful interior. As with every Colony coworking space in its portfolio, this space will reflect its own distinctive flair from other locations, yet maintains the brand’s contemporary grandeur,” said the statement.
