KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 21): Phase 1 (sub-phase 1A) of the ‘Rumah Selangorku’ project – to be built by MK Land Holdings Bhd (MK Land) in Taman Bunga Raya, Bukit Beruntung – had already sold out on Saturday before its official launch.
Group chief executive officer of MK Land, K Mohanachandran, said the project is built following requests from various quarters for affordable housing.
“We want to help the people of Selangor to own a house as opposed to renting, where rentals are subject to the fluctuating market prices.”
“Subphase 1A is one of four subphases, and the owners of subphase 1A units have been identified. Due to the great response, registration for subphase 1C is open today,” he said in a statement today.
“Competitive price, attractive designs, strategic location and ample facilities are among the reasons for buyers’ choice. The savings from the project’s construction will be channelled back to Rumah Selangorku to improve on the quality of the houses,” added Mohanachandran.
Meanwhile, MK Land’s group senior general manager, Zulkipli Sidin, said there are 109 units of type D double storey terrace houses – priced at RM250,000 per unit – in subphase 1A, and 101 units of type D houses in subphase 1C.
“The estimated completion and handing out of the keys of subphase 1A is in January 2021. All 1,385 units of Rumah Selangorku project will take seven years to be fully completed,” said Zulkipli.
