KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 20): Sunway Construction Group Bhd’s (SunCon) subsidiary Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd has bagged a RM781.3 million contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) to build TNB headquarters campus development (Phase II) in Jalan Bangsar here. With this new contract, SunCon’s outstanding order book amounts to RM6 billion.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, SunCon said its unit yesterday accepted the letter of award from TNB. The project will be completed within 26 months. “The project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of SunCon Group from the financial year ending Dec 31, 2019 onwards,” it added.
