Baris Place shopoffices in Setia Mayuri 90% taken up at launch

PETALING JAYA (April 3): S P Setia Bhd saw the recent launch of its Baris Place shopoffices at its Setia Mayuri township in Semenyih, Selangor record a take-up of over 90%, with buyers citing the excellent location facing Jalan Broga and within walking distance to the University of Nottingham as major draws.

Priced from RM1 million, the 32 units of 2- and 3-storey shop-offices comprise 20ft by 80ft intermediate and 80ft by 80ft corner units.

“We are very pleased with the good take-up of these shop-office units. It proves that despite the prevailing market uncertainty, the right product at the right prices at the right place will always find a market,” said Setia Mayuri general manager Koh Sooi Meng in a media release today.

“We expect the population in Broga and Semenyih to increase exponentially in the near future with the establishment of other developments along Jalan Broga, and this has given our investors confidence in the potential of Baris Place,” he added.

Setia Mayuri is self-contained, enabling residents to enjoy a lifestyle of convenience.

Set on the edge of the township, Baris Place is a contemporary retail avenue with road-fronting shop-offices which are highly visible and accessible from the main road, Jalan Broga. They are suitable for businesses such as F&B, retail and services to serve the Setia Mayuri community, as well as the university students and neighboring Broga community, said the developer.

Meanwhile, the Setia Mayuri Welcome Centre is under construction and will be open to the public in May 2019, in conjunction with the launch of the first residential phase of the township.

With its design inspired by traditional Balinese architectural, this sales gallery will be a major landmark along Jalan Broga and symbolises the developer’s aspiration to build a unique township that is full of character, Koh said.
