Najib faces 3-month ban from Parliament over Felda white paper leak

KUALA LUMPUR (April 11): Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak faces a three-month ban from Parliament for allegedly leaking parts of the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) white paper that was tabled at Parliament yesterday.

He had purportedly published portions that covered, among others, Felda's acquisition of a 37% stake in PT Eagle High Plantations Tbk, on his Facebook page before the embargo was lifted at 11.30am yesterday (April 10).

According to an order paper, he is in breach of Clause 95(A) of the Standing Orders of the Dewan Rakyat.
