KUALA LUMPUR (April 25): What do you do if you are not happy with the car you bought?

A woman in China demonstrated her dissatisfaction by going to the company’s showroom and plonking her body on the bonnet of one of the cars.

According to a report by the South China Morning Post (SCMP), the woman was angry as “the airbags in her X1 SUV did not inflate in an accident”, resulting in injuries during an accident.

Her antics reportedly damaged the bonnet of one of the showroom cars, forcing staff at the Baode Automotive Sales Service in Danyang, Jiangsu province, to call the police.

“What a BMW! There’s a problem but no one stands up to solve it,” the unidentified woman was seen yelling in videos online.

A showroom staff explained that: “She could have talked with us nicely. It’s not necessary for her to sit on our car. And the thing is that she destroyed our car,” reported the Hong Kong-based daily.

And it looks this “protest” was “inspired” by an earlier event.

A woman named Wang staged a showroom protest in a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Xian, Shaanxi province, reported SCMP. She also sat on the bonnet of a car, complaining that her “CLS 300 coupe leaked oil and she said she could not get a straight answer from the dealer about a repair or replacement”.

Meanwhile, another copycat has emerged. A woman also decided to sit on the bonnet of a Cadillac coupe in Changsha, Hunan province. Her grievance: The staff wrote the wrong date on her receipt.
