Elmina Valley Five homes 90% taken-up

PETALING JAYA (April 29): Sime Darby Property’s Elmina Valley Five (EV5), the latest in its Elmina Valley (EV) series (pictured) at Elmina City township, has seen a total take-up of 90% since the launch of EV5's first phase on March 23 weekend and second phase on April 27.

Phase 1 of EV5, which comprises 168 units, was sold out at launch while Phase 2's 205 units which were launched on April 27 has seen a take-up rate of 83%. Only 37 units are left to be sold, said the developer in a statement today.

Located in Shah Alam, this freehold development is easily accessible via the North Klang Valley Expressway, the Guthrie Corridor Expressway, the LATAR Expressway, ELITE Highway and Federal Highway. The expressways also link the township to the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, KLIA and KLIA 2. Meanwhile, the upcoming Damansara-Shah Alam Highway (DASH), which is expected to be completed by early 2020, will significantly shorten travel time to the city centre.

“We planned to launch only 113 units of phase 2 but after seeing the response from buyers on the first day, we made the decision to open up all 205 units for purchase. This brings the overall take up of EV5 to 90%, a major achievement in a challenging market,” said Sime Darby chief operating officer for township development Datuk Wan Hashimi Albakri Wan Ahmad Amin Jeffri in the statement.

Phase 2 of EV5 offers double-storey link homes with built-up areas from 2,404 sq ft, with prices starting from RM850,399. EV5 is also one of the property projects under the National Home Ownership Campaign 2019 whereby purchases before June 30 will be eligible for stamp duty exemption.

Homes in EV5 are the first in City of Elmina to come with FittingsPlus+, which include built-in air conditioning piping, instant water heaters, booster pump and external water filter. All EV5 homeowners will also enjoy complimentary high speed internet of up to 1Gbps from TIMEdotcom for two years.
