KUALA LUMPUR (May 3): The retail price of RON97 will cost one sen less at RM2.80 per litre from RMRM2.81 per litre for the fuel price week of May 4 to 10.

At the same time, prices for RON95 and diesel remain unchanged, at RM2.08 and RM2.18 per litre respectively.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Finance said without subsidy, the retail prices would have been RM2.50 per litre for RON95 and RM2.47 per litre for diesel.

The estimated subsidy by the government for the May 4-10 period amounts to RM130.45 million.
