
KUALA LUMPUR (May 4): YFG Bhd has bagged a RM20.84 million contract to undertake mechanical and electrical works for the construction of a 41-storey office suites in Bandar Sunway, Selangor.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the Practice Note 17 (PN17) company said its wholly-owned subsidiary YFG Engineering Sdn Bhd has today accepted the letter of award from O&C Construction Sdn Bhd for the job.
The project involves works in fire protection services, cold water & sanitary plumbing services, electrical and telephone services, air-conditioning and ventilation, swimming pool filtration system and electrical low voltage services.
The duration of the project is 36 months.
"The project is expected to contribute positively to the group's revenue and earnings for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2019," said YFG.
Trading in YFG shares has been suspended since March 22 last year. It fell into PN17 status in 2015 after its auditors expressed an emphasis on the company and its subsidiaries' ability to continue as a going concern. — theedgemarkets.com
