KUALA LUMPUR (May 17): The retail price of RON97 has dropped by 2 sen to RM2.68 per litre for the period of May 18-24, said the Ministry of Finance today.

Meanwhile, the retail price of diesel is maintained at RM2.18 per litre while RON95 remains at RM2.08 per litre.

The ministry said it is spending RM99.19 million to subsidise RON95 and diesel fuel during this period.

It added that based on the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), the price of diesel should be RM2.45 per litre whereas RON95 should be priced at RM2.38 per litre.
