PETALING JAYA (June 3): Water supply in some areas of Klang and Kuala Langat will be disrupted owing to a 1,800mm burst pipe in Setia Alam, Selangor, said a press statement by Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor said emergency repair work has started and the unscheduled water supply disruption will take place in stages. The company will update the water disruption status from time to time.

The press statement also noted that the company is preparing to mobilise water tankers to the affected areas and would activate Local Service Centres (LSCs) at 3pm today.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this unexpected incident and will take all effort and actions to repair the burst pipeline and to minimise the impact of the disruption,” said Pengurusan Air Selangor.
