JOHOR BAHRU (June 13): Calidora@Setia Tropika, Johor Bahru, has been 80% taken up since its official launch in early May.

With a gross development value of RM66 million, Calidora is the latest collection of homes in Setia Tropika, S P Setia Bhd’s township development in Johor. It comprises 72 units of 32ft by 70ft double-storey cluster homes priced from RM921,800.

Each unit comes with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It was launched concurrently with the opening of Tesco Setia Tropika.

S P Setia told EdgeProp.my that some 80% of Calidora has been taken-up so far.

“The newly-opened Tesco outlet will certainly add to the hustle and bustle of the township. Now, residents get to benefit from the  extra choices and the convenience on top of the list of existing amenities within the vicinity,” said S P Setia Property South general manager Saniman Amat Yusof.

He added that Calidora is an ideal choice for young families, and those who are looking for an upgrade in their living spaces, not to mention Johoreans who commute frequently between their state and Singapore.

“Residents of Calidora will be pleased to know that the residential area is a 24-hour gated-and- guarded community. The many pocket parks available in numerous locations of the township are part of our commitment to creating ecological features and a sustainable living environment,” Saniman added.

Setia Tropika is a township situated next to the North-South Highway with a designated Exit 255B, built by S P Setia to enhance accessibility.

Kempas Medical Centre is a mere 5km away whereas the CIQ Checkpoint and Johor Bahru city centre are 12km away while Senai International Airport is only an 18km-drive away from the township.
