MRCB bags RM150m contract to supply chilled water to office building in Kwasa Damansara

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 3): Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd’s (MRCB) subsidiary has bagged a chilled water supply contract worth an estimated RM149.54 million.

KD District Cooling System Sdn Bhd (KDDCS) was awarded the contract by the Employees Provident Fund Board's (EPF) wholly-owned unit Kwasa Utama Sdn Bhd to supply chilled water to an office building in Kwasa Damansara for a period of 25 years from Sept 1.

MRCB, in a filing with Bursa Malaysia, said KDDCS's principal activity is to provide district cooling services, while MRCB has the expertise in providing chilled water supply since 2013.

"Additionally, the agreement is to strategically position KDDCS to engage with other customers in the vicinity of the Kwasa Damansara development for the provision of chilled water,"
