KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 11): As of Feb 10, 108 more people died from the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak, bringing the total death toll in Mainland China to 1,016, the Chinese government said.

A Facebook posting by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malaysia said that out of the 108 new deaths, 103 were reported in Hubei, and one each in Beijing, Tianjin, Heilongjiang, Anhui and Henan.

"At present, there are 37,626 confirmed cases, of which 7,333 are severe cases and 21,675 suspected cases. 428,438 close contacts had been tracked. 187,728 people are currently receiving medical observation," the embassy said, citing information from China's National Health Commission.
