UPDATED: Stimulus package to be announced as scheduled tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 26): The government will announce an Economic Stimulus Package tomorrow (Feb 27), as previously stated by former finance minister Lim Guan Eng.

In an invite received by the theedgemarkets.com, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) announced that interim Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad will unveil an economic stimulus package at the Perdana Putra complex in Putrajaya at 3pm tomorrow.

The stimulus package, first announced by Lim on Feb 14, is to counter the adverse economic impact of Covid-19 on the Malaysian economy.
