KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 28): Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has nominated Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (pictured) as the prime minister candidate for the Agong’s consideration, say the latest reports.
Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Marzuki Yahya revealed that the nomination was decided at a meeting involving the party’s MPs and interim prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at Yayasan Al Bukhary.
A Malay Mail report stated that Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and his faction are also backing Muhyiddin’s nomination.
