KUALA LUMPUR (March 9): Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican (pictured) has stepped down from Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s board of directors to pursue other endeavours, effective last Friday (March 6).

“We thank Tan Sri Mohd Hassan for his commitment and contributions to Khazanah throughout his tenure as a member of the board of directors, and we wish him the very best for the future,” said Khazanah, in a statement yesterday.

The former Petronas president and chief executive officer, who is also one of the five members of the Council of Eminent Persons, was appointed director of Khazanah in July 2018, nearly two months after the 14th General Election.
