COVID-19: Another death in Melaka, tally now 15

KUALA LUMPUR (March 23): Health director-general (DG) Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah today announced one more death from COVID-19, bringing the total number of fatalities to 15.

In a Facebook posting, he said the 71-year-old man from Melaka passed away at 5.35am today.

Noor Hisham said the deceased, who had a history of chronic illness, had close contact with one of the Masjid Jamek Seri Petaling tabligh participants.

“He was admitted to Sultanah Fatimah Hospital in Muar on March 18”, said the DG.
