COVID-19: 172 new confirmed infections with 1,796 cases in total as of noon, says Muhyiddin

KUALA LUMPUR (March 25): Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced another 172 new confirmed COVID-19 infections as of noon today, bringing the total number of cases to 1,796.

In a statement, he said COVID-19 positive cases have been increasing in just a week.

“The death toll also increased to 17, including a doctor; condolences to the family,” said Muhyiddin.

Meanwhile, the Movement Control Order (MCO) has been extended to April 14.
