Malaysia COVID-19 deaths jump to 34, cases rise to 2,470

KUALA LUMPUR (March 29): Malaysia has recorded seven new deaths from COVID-19 as at 12pm today, bringing the total to 34 deaths, said health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah today.

This as the nation recorded another 150 new patients, pushing the tally to 2,470.

Meanwhile, 68 more patients have recovered. In total, the number of recovered patients stood at 388.

Seventy three patients are being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU), 52 of which require breathing ventilators, he said.
