PETALING JAYA (March 30): Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (pictured) has lodged a police report that RM250,000 in a safe box in his home has gone missing, reported Free Malaysia Today.

In a statement, the former youth and sports minister said “he could not confirm details or speculation on the incident, including media reports that the money belonged to PPBM, until the investigation was completed”.

According to the report by FMT, the police report was lodged at 7pm yesterday and it stated that the RM250,000 was an “estimated loss”.

The report also stated that the last time he opened the safe was “either on March 13 or 14 and that there were no signs of his house or room being ransacked”.

It also added that “only a few people knew the combination code”.
