KUALA LUMPUR (April 13): Resorts World Genting said its resorts at Genting, Awana, Kijal and Langkawi will continue to be closed until April 28 this year, in line with the extension of the movement control order (MCO) announced last week.

In a statement on its website, the group said operations at its resorts will resume upon the lifting of the MCO.

“We will continue to monitor the situation and make the necessary announcements as more information becomes available,” it said.

Resorts World said despite the temporary closure, it has heightened its already stringent hygiene practices to safeguard the health and safety of all guests and employees.
