PETALING JAYA (April 15): Norfarrah Syahirah Shaari was born without arms but that has not prevented her from doing her part in helping to stem the COVID-19 outbreak in Malaysia.

She has volunteered to sew personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontliners using just her feet, reported the Malay Mail.

The beneficiaries of her noble effort will be the medical staff of Klinik Kesihatan Teluk Intan and Hospital Teluk Intan.

Hailing from Bagan Datuk, Perak, Norfarrah said in a Facebook posting that was grateful for the opportunity to help frontline medical staff.

“Many people have been asking to see how I use a sewing machine, so I’ll show you my own method when sewing with my feet.

“I'm feeling really motivated to sew PPE clothing for our frontliners,” she wrote.

A video of her using her feet to sew has been posted on her Facebook.

According to Harian Metro report last year, Norfarrah also managed up to obtain her driving license seven years ago.
