KUALA LUMPUR (May 12): Following the conditional movement control order (CMCO) with loosened restrictions announced by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Resorts World Genting said its resorts at Genting, Awana, Kijal and Langkawi will remain closed until further notice.

In a statement on its website, Genting Malaysia said it will continue to monitor the situation and make the necessary announcements as more information becomes available.

“We would like to assure you that, despite the temporary closure, we have heightened our already stringent hygiene practices to safeguard the health and safety of all our guests and employees. This will ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience once we reopen,” Genting Malaysia said.
