KUALA LUMPUR (May 14): The Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Ministry has announced the appointment of Datuk Jalaluddin Alias (pictured) as UDA Holdings Bhd (UDA) chairman effective May 13, 2020.
Jalaluddin is the Member of Parliament for Jelebu. He is also an Umno Supreme Council member and the Jelebu Umno division head.
The post was previously held by Datuk Hisham Hamdan who took office on March 1, 2019.
Jalaluddin has also been a Negeri Sembilan state exco and Chairman of the state's Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Action Committee.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and had once served as the Special Officer of the Kuala Pilah/Jempol and Jelebu District Education Office in 1990 to 1991.
