KUALA LUMPUR (June 18): The High Court here has today rejected Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's (pictured) ad interim injunction application to remain as Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairman.

Earlier, it was reported that Dr Mahathir, Mukhriz and four others applied for the injunction while waiting for their main legal action against their termination from Bersatu. It was reported that hearing of the main legal action is scheduled for July 9.

It was reported that the other four are former Bersatu Supreme Council members Datuk Amiruddin Hamzah and Dr Maszlee Malik, ex-Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Marzuki Yahya and former Bersatu Youth chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.
